I installed Global Headers and Footers and the installation appears to have worked correctly, but I cannot find the contol panels to access it in any of the Administration pages.

I see in another post you refer to the location as "the admin panel or on main page", but I have looked everywhere for hours and can't find anything.

The Package Manager shows it as an Installed Package. I am using SMF 1.1 RC2.

Thanks!

Should be a link under Themes and Layout called
Global Headers and Footers
Click on that link and you should be able to edit the headers/footers.

Thank you for the quick response.

But unfortunately it is not there! Should I try to uninstall and reinstall? Or look somewhere else?

I would reinstall and make sure all your files are rewritable? Are you able to install other mods?

I have the exact same problem - no control interface.

That is, if the language of the admin is non-english (I have the danish language pack for smf 1.1RC3 installed.

If the admin's language is english, the Global Headers and Footers works as it should Smiley

Kind regards - and thanks for a great little mod

You would need to transfer the text that was in modifications.english.php to modifications.danish.php then you can see the strings.

I'm having the exact same problem when I use any other theme than default. Then the Global header & Footer controls appear. I thought this MOD could be used under any theme???

It does work for any theme but if you are using a different language you need to copy over the modifications.english.php text strings to modifications.yourlanguage.php

I'm using english... The Global controls only appeared in Defauly, Yabb, and Babylon. So, I had to take the Yabb theme, and alter it to the way I wanted it to look. It was the only way to keep the Global controls present. I don't like havin to do that, because now the Yabb theme is gone (unless I restore it), so can you explain what caused this to go wrong???

Thanks

I don't have any idea...This mod is not theme dependent and should work with all themes.
