Contact Page Mod Being Used for SPAM

I have the Contact Page modification installed at two sites. Both sites are now being used by SPAMMERS, and they are (apparently) accessing the Contact Page to send their spam.

The CAPTCHA, or other image-based verification, would be a GREAT (and important) addition to this modification.

Without it, I am now facing my sites being blacklisted for SPAMMING.

That's planned. Just don't have time to work on it. And CAPTCHA only works with SMF 1.1.X

Question:

How can it be used for spam? When it only contacts you(or those with admin permissions)

Or am I wrong. Huh

I don't see how this can be used for spam, anyone can send email using any domain name. The contact mod, sends email to the admin or whomever you have listed as the contact, so how is that possible?

Ive been using this mod over a year and no spammers.

Anywho...... where do i edit settings on this mod? I have 2 other admins and for some reason they dont recieve contact emails like i do.

It only sends to the webmaster email under Server Settings

Mick, you could just setup a forward for your webmaster email in your hosting control panel so the other admins could get the emails as well. Just a thought.
