How will the store react without the IPN for Paypal setup?

I currently have another e-commerce site using the Paypal IPN and cannot use it for the store so I was wondering how it will act....

as long as I still get sales emails I should be fine....it just wont communicate with the store about items being paid for???

That's fine if you have the IPN used for another url. We also override any IPN url in your profile if you have another set already.
