That will be no problem.
My problem is, how to use SMF Link.
I have the Link "Links Configuration".
Then I see "Link settings": It explains itself.
"Manage Categories". No Prolblem (I added categories and links).
"Approve Links": I just see "Url Title Description Category Submitted by: Pagerank Alexa Options" Nothing else.
"Category Permission List": I just see "Member Group Name Category View Add Link Edit own Link Delete own Link Options". Nothing else.
How can a member create Links? How can I set permissions?

Look in permissions for the membergroup and you'll see the option for the links mod

Glad to help.The other thing you can do is copy the lang.files for the mods and add-utf8 to the end of them.So it would look like this shop.english-utf8.php

Hi. I've been trying to install some mods on my forum. Whenever I use the package manager it says i successfully have uploaded and installed, but nothing happens. I can't use anything. Please help.
try switching your default forum langauge from english-utf8 to english.

I came from YaBB where you had to use BoardMod. Is this how it's down with SMF? I can't find any instructions.

You can install mods thru your package manager.D/l the mod to your PC and then upload it thru the package manager.Follow the instructions and remember to make all files writable.Also its best to install all mods while using the default theme.

Each membergroup has the veiw links permission?
Every group but guests.I set them to veiw only.I switched to the default theme and still get the same message.

I just recently installed this mod.As an admin I can seeit but everyone else gets an error has occured message.I tried to veiw the mod under my test account and get the same thing.I set the permissions for them to veiw and stiil no luck.Any ideas?Thanks to all that reply.
