I'm not sure I understand your first question. But, what I'm thinking, is it would be great if each location in each category/board could be sold off to an advertiser. You probably wouldn't want to break it down to topics, that just seems too small of chunks.
Example 1) "In First Post" of "Engines" board could be bought. 2) "In First Post" of "Transmissions" could be bought by another advertiser. 3) "After Last Post" of "Tech" category could be bought by another advertiser. (tech category would include engines, transmissions, etc.) I guess this part could be done by simply creating a package.
Really, this should probably be something in the package area. You choose which location, and in which boards each of their ads will appear in. Then, the next time you create a package, that location for those boards will become unavailable if the quantity was set to 1.
Example: Locations [] Check All [] Overall Header [] Overall Footer [x] After First Post Boards [] Check All [] Engine (Not available cause it was part of another package with only 1 quantity) [x] Transmission Child Boards [x]Check All [x]Automatic [x]Manual [] Suspension [] Body [] After Last Post [] Inside First Post etc.
Hope this helps clarify.

Ad Seller Pro / Support / Duplicate locations for board sponsors

I've seen this topic covered, but the answer didn't quite fit my needs. What I want to do is sell advertising rights to specific boards in specific locations. For example, I have a forum about cars. I would like to sell the "In First Post" location of the "Engine" board to one advertiser, and the "In First Post" location of the "Transmission" board to another advertiser. What I need to be able to do is limit where the customer is able to advertise, without them going into the ad manager and editing their ad so it is displayed in other boards.
This may be a feature request. Is there anyway you can build in a quick location duplicator so we can quickly and easily do this?
