1  SMF Gallery Pro / Support / Re: How to configure the Auto-Twitter on: May 04, 2013, 01:07:58 pm
Update made but I still get the problem number 2, ie, blank page when I click on Sign In to Twitter.
2  SMF Gallery Pro / Support / Re: How to configure the Auto-Twitter on: May 04, 2013, 12:43:39 pm
My log shows this:
Code:
http://themobilephotographyblog.com/index.php?action=admin;area=gallery;sa=twitter
8: Undefined index: consumer_secret
File: /home/sites/themobilephotographyblog.com/public_html/Themes/default/smfhacks_templates/global-hf.template.php (twittersettings sub template - eval?)
Line: 8196

I willl install the new version and see if it gets fixed.

Btw, on Twitter, Hashtags are very important and there should be a way to had them...  isn't this possible? Not even manually on the code?
3  SMF Gallery Pro / Support / How to configure the Auto-Twitter on: May 04, 2013, 12:29:23 pm
I have some questions about how to configure the auto-twitter.

1. What is supposed to go on the 2 blank spaces. I have configures on other places the auto-tweet and I have to use 4 as I have 2 pairs of information: Twitter Consumer Key/Twitter Consumer Secret and Access Token/Access Token Secret.

2. When I click on Sign-In with Twitter, I go to a blank page. When I first tried immediately after installing the v5.0, I though it was because I didn't had put anything on those blank spaces but I have tried now and same thing happens, regardless the keys I set there.

3. What exactly is posted on the Twitter?  Only a link? Can I add somehow an hashtag?

Ok. No problem. Thanks for the help.

Ok. Not that I like that much having a "Gallery2" or something similar and I still don't understand the reasons for the error that start giving when it worked before just fine.

I just don't understand why it was working well for months and today started giving this message...

I will try those changes once I back up the site. I just have to change the name to gallery2 and the link on the settings to http://themobilephotographyblog.com/gallery2/ ?

Update:

After disabling PrettyURLs Actions (Rewrite Action URLs (ie, index.php?action=something), things are working again.

So my Gallery link now is http://themobilephotographyblog.com/index.php?action=gallery instead of http://themobilephotographyblog.com/gallery/ while links to photo are like http://themobilephotographyblog.com/gallery/natural-landscape/iris-garden/1700

I don't understand why suddenly it stopped working and I would like to return to the previous settings, since the Gallery link looks much better the "old" way. So any idea what might be wrong?

More info.

I have pretty URLs enabled. I also checked that the "normal link" http://themobilephotographyblog.com//index.php?action=gallery works. I tried to disable the Gallery pretty URLs but nothing happened (links continue with the same URL).

I also checked my Gallery Settings and everything seems ok (URL = http://themobilephotographyblog.com/gallery/).
9  SMF Gallery Pro / Support / Message: "Are you trying to look at the pictures of this forum???" on: May 03, 2013, 05:34:13 am
Without making any change and being working normal, now I receive this message "Are you trying to look at the pictures of this forum???" after a member uploaded one photo...

What the heck happened and how can I solve this quickly?

More info:

I can access images directly: http://themobilephotographyblog.com/gallery/natural-landscape/iris-garden/1700 but if I try to rate or comment, that message appears. Also, link to gallery is also "dead"...  I have no idea what happened as I didn't touch anything...

The absence of a reply must mean that this can't be done. Too bad since I had in mind having shortcuts to popular searches...
11  SMF Gallery Pro / Support / Link to a Gallery search on: April 06, 2013, 12:45:19 pm
I wanted to place some links on my site for some specific searches by "Model".  Is there any way to have/create that kind of links to a specific search to the Gallery?
12  SMF Gallery Pro / Support / Quality of images after importing on: February 26, 2013, 05:17:50 pm
I have set from on my gallery the "JPEG Compression Percent:" to 100% which I believe would make no changes to the quality of the initial image. Still, I find some difference on some between the original and the imported one.

Seems to me that images always go thru some kind of processing. Is there any way to avoid that processing, since I think it "damages" some images?
13  SMF Gallery Pro / Support / Re: Not uploading photos of high resolution on: February 17, 2013, 06:44:00 pm
I've continued to investigate this to discover that it does upload to the site but fails when trying to display in the gallery. On the host, the image is uploaded but I think there is no thumbnail, only a file like "2-200113122313.jpeg_thumb.tmp".  I think the problem is while creating the thumbnail, so it's a problem in the gallery and not on my side (or my host side).

Edit: Added a photo example of an upload failure with the Thumb created, which I think is where the problem occurs.

Btw, is it safe to delete this photos since they don't appear on the Gallery?
14  SMF Gallery Pro / Feature Requests / Re: Thumbs Up Picture Vote System on: February 13, 2013, 08:06:17 am
This looks indeed interesting as an alternative rating system.

It also has been adopted by other communities where I post photos and large ones as G+. I think people refrain to "classify" the photo because they don't want to decide how many stars to give.
15  SMF Gallery Pro / Bugs / Re: Previous link jumps to first picture on: February 08, 2013, 11:04:13 am
I didn't touch the sort options and I confirm this bug.

I think it was working and somehow, in some version, it stopped working as it should.
