An Error Has Occurred!
You need to select a category.

The 3rd level categories are missing from the drop down box so you cannot upload to any of these.

You can still browse though images in these categories and open the images, just cannot upload to, or move images to the 3rd level categories.

Do you have the file and line number of the error?

File attached. Line number = 10
4  SMF Gallery Pro / Support / Can't access 3rd level sub-categories on: April 22, 2013, 04:13:17 am
I have some 2nd & 3rd level categories in my gallery.

Gallery >
            Location Pictures >
                                        QLD
                                        NSW
                                        VIC

I can access Gallery, and the sub-category Location Pictures (and all other sub-categories) but cannot access the 3rd level to load images into. Can view previously loaded images but cannot load images into this level, or move images from other categories into these levels.

Any tips on how to fix Hacks?

Just had same problem happen in my store today. Am reading through posts above to check advice given.

Edit - Yep, was a database error at the time of the transaction. Any tips on how to retrieve this transaction?

If you add a member as a store user in permissions, don't you get to see their transactions? Charge a membership fee for access to this?

Alternatively, what about using Classifieds and charge a fee for access to a member group which has permissions to use?

Picture below shows what I see in the signup form. Should there be something in the drop down box?

When I hit the generator button I get the following

Hi Hacks Team,

I downloaded the Newsletter version 3.0 , it installed perfectly on SMF 2.0.4

After installation it automatically redirected me to MAIN > ADMIN > NEWSLETTER PRO - perfect  Grin

I have the following tabs: SETTINGS /  LISTS / MESSAGES / REPORTS / CAMPAIGNS / IMAGE HOSTING / SIGNUP FORM / MANAGE LINKS / UNSUBSCRIBE LIST

There is no where can I see how to actually create, build or add content to a newsletter. And I cannot see where anyone can sign up or subscribe to the newsletter. Am I missing something?

Also is there a portal block code for subscribing?

Thankyou

Sweetwater

I think the stand alone store in now a reality.
12  SMF Store / Presales / Re: I'm interested in the store on: June 09, 2012, 08:49:12 am
Actually the website is for small trinkets that I'm building for a friend who wants a forum as well as a store. (To be honest I doubt she'll even sell 89.00 worth of stuff in her first year since its mostly small handcrafted items).

Maybe after late summer I may choose to add a classifieds in my existing site at PSHomeSource.com but I'm still developing my site (Its a PlayStation Home fansite).

So basically I just need the one store script

I purchased the community suite. While I don't sell much via the store the suite package gives me all of the SMFHacks mods, which I find useful eg gallery with video add-on, classifieds etc Works out cheaper than individual mods purchased ad-hoc.

Cheers,

13  SMF Store / Support / Meta Descriptions help? on: May 03, 2012, 05:10:44 am
Hi Hacks,

My google webmaster tools has flagged software purchased from here as having Meta Descriptions being "too short".

For better SEO, how can we insert meta descriptions that relate to the products we sell?

Can you add a field when making a new product to add meta tags?, AND / OR can you add a field where we can add a general meta description in the store that will then carry over to all products in store?

Same for Classifieds....

Great software & great support.

Thanks
14  SMF Store / Feature Requests / Re: Returns Policy & Shipping Conditions TABS request on: November 18, 2011, 08:21:28 pm
Absolutely. I think that will work perfectly.
15  SMF Store / Feature Requests / Re: Shipping Conditions for overseas on: November 18, 2011, 08:20:21 pm
What about having a default setting, and be able to add a country with shipping conditions which will over ride the default for that country if added.

If these the countries are editable, then the store admin can add one as needed.

OR, as a first step, have only 2 options; domestic shipping & international shipping.
