No links work.
47  Newsletter Pro / Support / Re: Bad Links? on: January 18, 2013, 10:00:08 am
Umm. . . the whole page?  Ok. . .

I have attached what it looks like in my e-mail client.  Like I said. . . happy with the visual result. . . not so much the bad links.

48  Newsletter Pro / Support / Bad Links? on: January 17, 2013, 11:39:43 pm
So it has been a while since I have sent out a newsletter.  I managed to cobble together a newsletter in a text editor that I'm happy with and looks good in g-mail, yahoo, firebird etc. . . so then I go to copy and paste that into the newsletter maker. . . and that's when things go wrong.

First off the tiny_MCE hates me and won't let me do simple things like change the background color of the page.  So I dig around and find the tiny_mce folder on my server and re-name it to tiny_mce_die.  All good so far. . . when I go to the page that lets me put the message together I can copy and paste in my html and in my tests, it looks great.  Happy with it.  But then I click on some links.  Fail.  :-(  It takes me to things like "http://setuptab.com/newstracking.php?a=l&c=35&i=1&l=271" which ends up just being blank.  Did I accidentally disable newstracking code when I re-named the tiny_mce folder?  How can I make my links work in this newsletter that I am itching to send out?
49  SMF Store / Feature Requests / Re: HTML "block" for product page to enter in things like <video>? on: January 17, 2013, 06:11:06 pm
The ability to add custom html code to the product description would be more than enough.  When I create "pages" for other sections of my site I use EzPortal so. . . I guess I just was stuck in that mindset.
50  SMF Store / Feature Requests / HTML "block" for product page to enter in things like <video>? on: January 16, 2013, 03:22:40 pm
My only real option for showing videos on my store is to embed flash files or youtube clips.  Neither are ideal for my needs.  I would love for there to be a "block" like in EzPortal that just let me enter in my own HTML code into an <iframe>.  I THOUGHT this was what this would do:

Quote
+Added custom page system to create custom pages and user defined store tabs. Can useful to display store policies and other information

But. . . it doesn't look like that is the case. . . :-(

So. . . HTML EzPortal block per product?
51  SMF Store / Support / Re: Affiliate commission support ? on: June 23, 2010, 02:07:43 pm
Ok well then in the mean time could you go back to making sure the reports actually reflect sales amounts and figures?  If someone buys something on sale for 50% of the regular price. . . I currently have no way of knowing that.  The store just lists the full amount.
52  SMF Store / Support / Re: Affiliate commission support ? on: June 21, 2010, 01:24:50 pm
Well just allowing me to directly deposit their commission right into their paypal accounts would save me a HELL of a lot of work.  I know you were waiting for some papal API thing to get finished but. . . didn't that happen?  Could you just move on to working on that?  How much time would that take you?  pulleeezee!
53  SMF Store / Support / Re: Affiliate commission support ? on: June 16, 2010, 02:50:12 am
Would love for you to pay attention to this feature request.  I'm still having to calculate commissions by hand.  Its driving my wife and I nuts.
54  SMF Store / Support / Re: New paypal API! on: May 27, 2010, 04:22:18 pm
Working first on the Classifieds for this api saw it was just released. If it works well will add it to the store.

Did it end up working?  Would be an awesome feature.
55  Downloads System Pro / Feature Requests / Categories count items in subcategories in total. on: March 18, 2010, 12:43:09 pm
Right now I have a software category and then under that I have a mac category and a windows category.  Each containing items for people to download.  But when you look at the "Downloads" category it says there are "0" items available for download when. . . clearly that is not the case.  Yes technically there are no downloads available that ONLY fall within the category of "Software" but logically I would prefer there to be a total of files within the catagory AND all sub-categories.

Please?

Thank you.
57  Downloads System Pro / Bugs / Re: People being told they aren't logged in using Firefox 3.6 on: March 11, 2010, 11:24:32 pm
I put it in there.  Just got this note. . .

Just a quick comment... the download link worked fine using Internet Explorer, but doesn't work for Firefox 3.6. Keeps reporting that I wasn't logged in (even though I was) Regards!   March 10, 2010, 06:55:20 AM   Drux315

I think/hope that was before I changed the file.  Hope that fixed it.  (not sure what you did)

Hey do you know in what php file the permissions error notifications are hidden?  I'd like to re-word those to ask people to create an account for themselves instead of just saying "YOU DON'T BELONG HERE!"
58  Downloads System Pro / Bugs / Re: People being told they aren't logged in using Firefox 3.6 on: March 11, 2010, 11:03:43 am
I'm not using the default theme.  Will that matter?

Yea I'm not able to re-produce their errors either.  But the fact that I'm getting them from multiple people suggests there must be SOMETHING going on.  The settings?  The only restriction is that they have to have an account on the forum.  Guest's cant download.  Thats it.
