Downloads System Pro / Support / Image quality

When the software generates the icon images from the higher resolution ones that are uploaded. . . it seems to be set at a very low jpeg quality. Is there any way to change that to be a re-sized .png instead? Or at least increase the quality of the file considerably?

I'm the super duper admin, so I find it strange that I have to change the ownership of the file to be me before I can pick which image I want for the primary thumbnail. Once I have set the image I want I'm allowed to then give "ownership" of the file back. Being the master administrator I should be able to make that change globally. No?

Any new information you can share about how the new API works? Will it allow for the easy setup of splitting up payments for commissions?

I'd just like to throw in my support for this feature. Currently I have to calculate commissions by hand each month and its a pain in the bum for me and the people I'm re-selling products for.

So I did my first sale. I put a code in a newsletter that I sent out that gave them 20% off till the end of the month. So what people have been doing is adding a product to their cart, and then entering in the code. But THEN. . . once they see how much the code saves them they continue shopping to take advantage of the discount and they go and add more things to their cart only to find out the code doesn't work any more. So then they come to me asking for another code which is making this a very hands on process. :-(
Shouldn't the code only be marked as used for that user if an actual transaction has taken place?

Yea. . . I agree with you on the PDF thing. OH well.
I just re-named the TinyMCE folder on my server to something else. It borked up my newsletter every time I tried to use it. All the styles were off. . . big borders around all the images. . . things not lined up right etc. It doesn't just leave the HTML code alone like Wordpress or other on-line message creation software I have used in the past.
I guess that would be the cause eh?
Any way around it?

Could it be something I did when I copied and pasted the HTML code from the HTML editor over into the message box?
It would have included all the. . .
</body> </html> stuff that might have confused your software and blocked it from putting the un-subscribe and tracking code after it.

A lot of people are saying that they were unable to see the images. Is there some way of attaching them? Or. . . providing them with an option to receive a PDF instead in their own account management interface on the forum?

ahh cool. Thank you very much for looking into that.
I pretty much had to re-do the newletter about 5 different times as I discovered the different incompatibilities and clashes with things like TinyMCE. I finally just gave up on the MCE thing. For newsletters from a 3D animation forum. . . it needs to look pretty fancy or it won't attract the target audience. TinyMCE just didn't cut it. Couldn't put a table inside of another table for instance. And the code it creates won't work in Gmail or Internet Explorer. :-(
Can you tell me what Sineup Form is? What does the form builder do?
What are Campaigns and how do I use them?
Thanks in advance.

Well. . . this is a bit frustrating. Just found out that gmail blocks all images. . . till the user says its ok from this e-mail. THEN when they click ok it goes and blocks background images! My newsletter looks like poo for Gmail users. Same for Hotmail. Yahoo ignores my font color so now I have Black on black. . .
How do you guys deal with all this!?!
