Sounds great! The video mod requires a thumbnail/picture of the video in order to add the video to the gallery. Would we have to manually make a thumbnail/picture of the video?

This maybe ok for the forum owners, but I don't see the forum members being able to do this.

Works almost the same as a picture upload. Just instead you are uploading a video file. The thumbnail is not required and if no thumbnail is selected just uses a generic image. This maybe ok for the forum owners, but I don't see the forum members being able to do this.
There is no easy way to get an image of a video file more so when the video file can be in multiple formats. If they do not select a thumbnail image a generic video icon will be used instead.

Sounds fine, as long as the videos can show a descriptive "title" as do the photos and not a file name. But sounds like it does. I like, great job

Wow,
I make one suggestion and like a week later there's already a mod... this is GREAT!!!
I'm going to use this on my client's website immediately. I was going to link SMF with Coppermine because he needed video support but this is MUCH better!
Thanks

I am trying to get it up at AdventureBC dot com. Depending on how it goes CanadianHorseWorld dot com will also have it. And I am hoping to add it as a stand alone at AllMountainSkiing dot com (but I am not sure how to make that work).

Well I've installed the mod on my client's site and it works great. It was very easy to change the PHP.ini on the hosted environment I am using (godaddy) so that was not a problem.
The mod works just as expected.
It hink for the future of the mod there are a few minor and one major change that I'd like to see.
Minor - When you upload a video, the text should change so that wherever it says "picture" it should say video when viewing it.
Minor - It should also get rid of the linking codes at the bottom (since they are all for pictures) if the settings are set to show them.
Major - Auto thumbnail generation. This may be easier if the mod converts the uploaded video to a flash player... for right now though, the generic icon is good. Not something critical.
I really like this mod and I certainly don't mind paying for it at all, I hope more is done with it in the future.
