Everything was working fine until this weekend and I've been trying everything I can think of to get it working again with no results.

I'm admin on an SMF/TP forum and trying to upload a new photo to Gallery Pro 1.2.2.  It goes through all the normal steps and where the new photo should appear I get the "box with the red x" instead.  On top of that it looks like it overwrote an existing photo on the site and now it doesn't appear either (just the box with the red x).  I tried upgrading to Pro 1.3 thinking it might fix the problem....nope, not at all.

I have SMF/TP Gallery Lite installed on another site, same server, and it works perfectly fine.  I mentioned this because our server had a migration to CGI / php_suexec this past Friday and thought it might have been the cause.  I checked the chmod settings for both sites and they are the same.

Can anyone help me? Huh

Okay, here's the link to the forum.  I turned on "guests" to view gallery.  I uploaded a photo to "Dixie's Stuff" and it didn't seem to overwrite any of the other photos this time.  But, it did not make a thumbnail, even after regenerate thumbnails.  Use the Gallery link and it will show recent photos and the first one is the one I just uploaded.  You can't miss it because it's a box with a red "x", and if you click on it you will see the photo.  This is new behavior!  Before it would overwrite another photo and I'd have two of those boxes.

My web site host asked if there were any php directives written to .htaccess with SMF Gallery.  If so I need to move them to a php.ini and I really don't know if I have any or not.  I don't see anything in .htaccess that might apply to Gallery Pro.

If I did a full install (instead of the upgrade that I did) would that possibly fix the problem?

That's a good sign that's part of the function that the gallery uses to create the thumbnails.

I would look around in your other directories to see if a thumb_ or _thumb files are being created.

Also check your error log on your forum's for any error's that might be releated to images.

Thumbnails are being created in the gallery folder.  I could not find any in the other folders.  No errors are on the error log.  Would you like admin rights to look around and see if you can figure it out?
