Recent Pictures on Main Page

I was looking through the info on SMF Gallery Pro and saw "Show the most recent images on the main page (Pro Edition)".

Is this talking about on the main page of the forum or the gallery's main page? I'm hoping it's possible to have the latest photos show up on the main forum page (i.e. above the box labeled "General Category" in a standard installation). If so, I think this is exactly what I need to make my clients happy.

Forgot to add an extra thought I had. If it is possible to put the display the most recent photos on the main forum page, is it possible to restrict it to the most recent images from a particular category in the gallery?

For example: a forum for a gaming group has separate gallery categories for screenshots, group events, and random crap. Is it possible to restrict the recent photos box to only displaying the recent photos from screenshots?

The setting ""Show the most recent images on the main page (Pro Edition)" is for the main page of the gallery.

We do have a modification to add most recent pictures in the overall header of the forum. You would need to modify that modification to limit it to a specific category.
