Actually I did not try to upload any png photo. Every photograph is in jpg format most in Grayscale and some in RGB mode and saved for web in Photoshop with less than 60 Kb weight. I tried to test this function with b&w and color jpg, both 20% image size limit exceeding..

..please sorry for my English

Can you attach or send me a link to the photo?

The problem with this bug is it is linked to the SMF core.

The photos to be resized, never went to their target. I had to resize them manually down to the limits. So I don' have any link to them. It was the first test to this smf gallery function.

My site (and gallery) is here.

I had coppermine integrated till now. It was perfect connected but a little slower than my forum.
Your Gallery is much faster than any other module, and of course is ..SMF  Smiley

I can give you any file you need and also any permission to manage this bug

thanks again

I tried it into a test rc3 installation. Resizing works, but  images are now driven into a mode that Photoshop (at least) can not recognise them. They look like they have switched to 256 colors or someting purer in color depth..
