Email Hack Question - modifications to "profile.template.php" file

Is there somewhere that documents the changes made to the file "profile.template.php" when the email hack package is installed?  Mine fails the test prior to install, plus I'm not using the default template, so I likely need to mod the file myself anyway.

I looked in the readme and didn't see any mention of it.
