I have had to start over twice today trying to set up these categories with  duplicate settings.

A storm hit the second time and I could not remember where I left off when to power shut off.

Bahhh !

What do ya think is there a way to set up one category, then set the others the same as that category?

Upgrades you need add them under Classifieds Configurations - Upgrades

Then you need to edit "each category"  to add that upgrade as an option.

That is my next question? I have at least 50 categories by state and 6 sub categories in each state category.  Is it possible to give the admin a way to set a group of categories with the same permissions or functions from one edit mechanism. What I mean is if I edit a category Can you add a way to easily set the rest of them that very same way, including the upgrades etc...

I have been editing each category one by one today and realized that I need to start over because I forgot to click private bid on some of them.

Sure would make my classifieds much more user friendly if we had this option when needed to duplicate category permissions or functions.

What do you think?  Huh

Actually need all the sub categories to be set to Max pics of 1 unless they pay to add more, listing duration time of 7 days unless they upgrade for free, private bid, allow listing upgrades, which consist of add pic for set fee of 1 dollar, auction only, allow coments, allow featured upgraded for set fee of 50.00

These are how I need to set all my sub categories. The only thing I need different on each one is Title, the description and the to cost to add a auction listing in that category.

Is there a way to give us a way to set them the same, with a mechanism that allows you to set up a category the sames one that already exists?

Possibly more likely for version 1.3 I could have some kind of inheriting of category settings feature.
