I have played with this all day and still can;t quite figure it out.

Is the Max images: for each section the total number they can have or the total number before they buy upgrades?  I set mine up to give a Max images:1 and users can buy an upgrade of 7 images for $2.  With this setting it does not work and my test user still cannot upload additional images.  I went through the Paypal payment and everything.

If I increase the Max images: to 8 then they can post 8 images without paying extra.

The way I thought it was suppose to be set, is the admin can set the max images to let's say one (1) and if they want more then they can buy a upgraded and post more photos up to the amount that the upgraded gave them.  (or up to the max amount set in the classifieds configuration admin panel)

You may want to look over your max images setting in your admin classifieds configuration.

Maybe you need to set this max image setting higher?

I guess we will find out when Hack gets a chance to look this over. He is great at giving support on stuff like this.

Hang in there I am sure Hack will have a answer soon.

There was a bug on the edit files and pictures page if you purchased an upgrade on that page.

This has been fixed in 1.2.1 download the latest release.

Hack I have the 1.2.1 upgrade and when I used this page to add a image with the free admin button it told me that the free image was given to the listing. However when I tried to browse and upload a pic it said that I had reached my maximum number of images.

Go here and try to add a photo to this listing as admin and see if it works for you?

I just upgraded to the latest version and tried it again and I get the same error:

This listing has reached the limit of the number of images it can have.

Also is there not any way to return the person to the listing when they return to paypal so they can continue to upload?

Worked for me when logged as a global mod. Did a free upgrade then went back to the listing and added a picture then removed the picture.

Is that a paypal upgrade or are you logged in as admin using the free upgrades?

The issue with redirecting the user back to the listing page to add more pictures is sometimes for paypal it may take a while for them to postback. Or if the user uses an e-check the payment takes a couple days to clear.

I upgraded to the lastest Classifieds version and then went back in as a regular user and purchased the upgrade which sent me to Paypal.  It was a eCheck payment.  So if a user pays by eCheck they won't get the additional pictures until the payment clears?

Correct for e-Checks they will not get the extra pictures till the payment clears.

If you login as admin of the classifieds you can buy upgrades for free test how they work on a listing.

Yep that worked.  I'll wait till the payment clears and test that other user.  Thanks!

This is off topic but I think it is a quick answer.  How does a user delete their listing?  It looks like only Admins can delete a listing.

OK My fault, I was trying to ad photos to a listing that I had set for 10 max in the Classified configuration page.

Once I tried adding one with a free admin upgrade in a listing that had less than the max limit in the config page, it worked great.

Sorry for the mix up.

This worked great as admin as global mod too
Thanks Hack

Correct at this time only admin's can delete the listing. if you have the recycle bin enabled then the listing deletes it self once it is completed or expired.
