I just did the upgrade and this error is appearing when I pull up the User Galleries.
I am using SMF 1.1.5

Here is the link http://amfone.net/Amforum/index.php?action=gallery;su=user;sa=userlist

Here is the error I get when clicking on User Galleries - -

""You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'SELECT
COUNT(*) as total
FROM smf_gallery_pic WHERE USER_
File: /homepages/11/d132647312/htdocs/Amfone/Amforum/Sources/Load.php(1726) : eval()'d code
Line: 1006 ""

I tried to uninstall but the option was not available. Is there a way to revert back to the older version?

Any Ideas??

Gary

What MySQL version are you running? If it is older might be failing on the sub queries.

You can just reinstall the last 1.3.23 version over the 1.4 version using the 1.3 upgrade package.

I'm getting the same error.  I checked and we are using MySQL4.0.

Any ideas on how to fix it.  I realy like all the new stuff in SMF Gallery Pro 1.4.

More details...

Forum version: SMF 1.1.6 (more detailed)
Current SMF version: SMF 1.1.6
PHP version: 4.4.9
MySQL version: 4.0.27-max-log
Server version: Apache/1.3.34 Ben-SSL/1.55
GD version: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)

So  I  was try to figure out what when wrong and I started to look at my langaue files under /themes/default and seen that some of them were not up the the current rev and I copied/ftp the updated files to my site.

Now I come back and the Gallery button on the main board is Totaly missing and when went to uninstall the SMF Gallery Pro Upgrade there is no "unintall button".  And there is not Gallery button on the Adim page!

Ouch!

What did I screw up and how can I fix it?

I was getting the same error as the others.
Now with the upgrade to 1.4.02 I get:

Unknown column 'm.real_name' in 'field list'

When I attempt to go to the member galleries.

Just fixed mixed some SMF 2.0 code in the gallery.

Thanks for fixing that, it would be hard to get my host to upgrade MySQL.

Any idea how to fix the above problem?  Should I delete the files if I don't have an unintall button?

I would grab the full install package. That reinstalls the button on the default theme and fixes the mysql issue with the user gallery list.
You do not have to delete/remove the old upgrade package.

That seems to have fixed it.

Thanks that did the trick!  I did have to edit the "index.template.php" to remove the 2nd Gallery button.

Thank you.
