It would be nice if members cant see categories where they have no permissions.

You can edit this from permisions

In the options part you see

Code: [Select]

[Up] [Down] [Permissions] [Edit] [Delete]Hit Permissions
Select the UserGroup you wish to not view the Category
Deselect View
and hit Add Permission

I think he was meaning hide the category name competely so it does show up on the index or category list.
That takes a little more resources since it would need check each category and see if they can view it.
