I had some items where you could select from a drop down to pick  either the color or size of an item that is wanted to buy.
In 1.3 this has been merged so all of the colors are now on one line (no other option).

See the following link. Used to have a drop down where sizes could be selected.

Can only see that I will need to create a part number for every item (color & size) or am I missing something???
Have changed the product at the link below. Used to have a drop down where a color was selected, I've split it into 4 different products now to get around it.

Any other users found this?

Thanks,

Select options are still there.
Once you add a custom select attribute. There is a manage select link. When you click on that link you can add select items to the product.

That manage select page a input box to enter one select item at a time. You would click add. Then it would add it to the box then you do the same for each select item.

Hi Hacks,

Thanks for the reply.

Yep, I worked that out. The information on on which option is selected is not being carried over into the Shopping Cart or into Paypal.
Am wondering how we are to know which item has been purchased (small, medium, large etc or red, blue, yellow etc)

See the following link & select one of the options on the item & follow it thru to Shopping Cart > Paypal for example.
Link [ur=lhttp://www.sweetwaterfishing.com.au/Forum/index.php?action=store;sa=view;id=21]HERE>>> [/url]

Or am I missing something or have set it up wrong?

Have other items that need to be updated as the drop down options have been merged into one line during the software update. See HERE>>>

Thanks,

I no longer pass that information to paypal only the cart id. Since paypal limits only two custom fields and not very flexible. But you can still view what options were selected by viewing the cart of the transaction. On the transaction view page inside the Store click on the order id, or click on the order detail link. On this page you can see all details on that order.

Will take a look at the upgrader it should have auotcreated proper select fields for each item.

Ok, I understand what you're saying. Will play in the sandbox to complete a sale & see what comes out the other end.

Thanks for the reply Hacks.
