Was reading the documentation about loading from a file on the server, does this mean you can do a batch add, adding multiple files at once?

Currently only download admins have the option to do a batch import from the ftp folder on the site itself. Which means the site admin has to upload the files to the downloads/ftp/ folder. Then inside the download system they would go to the admin -> downloads system -> ftp  and then check off which files they want to import to what category.

I am the only person on my site that has any upload permissions so the admin permission is no problem. I have 2500 documents currently loaded, and 3500 still to load. It is a tedious process. But if i could batch add folders into a certian category that would be worth the purchase price alone!

Yeah that would work on your case. On website itself with downloads pro installed. There is a folder called downloads inside that is an ftp folder.

You would place all your documents and folders into that directory and you would be able to import them into any category needed.  Easy way would be if they are already in seperate folders just upload each folder that directory then inside downloads system pro. Go to FTP and and browse each folder and import the files inside them into a category that you need.
