EZPortal
« on: May 09, 2009, 05:24:18 pm »
There isn't an area for EZPortal, which seems strange as there are areas for every other piece of software that SMFHacks produces :(

I'd love to change over to it, as it would then integrate with every other piece of software, but I have a number of things I'd like to see added first as it's missing a lot of basic features which make it unusable for me.....

So, can we have a section added to the forum for EZPortal please?

Regards
Eddy

EzPortal is kept at http://www.ezportal.com along with the EzPortal forums. Long term goals is to integrate with all forum software along with a standalone version.

Let me know of any features need because I am planning to do an Ezportal update this weekend.

One of the main things is the ability to setup a navigation menu easily with permissions....

I like to have all my menu items on the left hand column, which I can do using html code in EZPortal, but there isn't a way to add permissions for each item (or at least I can't find a way to do it!). For example...

Home
Forum
Downloads
Photo Gallery
Login/Register

I'd like to add permissions so that the Downloads item was only displayed to registered users etc.... Guests wouldn't even see that it existed.

Regards
Eddy
