# of images allowed by membergroup
« on: September 16, 2009, 07:12:40 pm »
Newbie alert! I've tried reading most of the posts here in the classifieds area, hope I didn't miss a thread that would answer my question.

As far as I can tell, the number of images allowed applies to all members. I would love to see it as:

regular members = 1 pics allowed - free to regular members
supporting members = 4 pics allowed - for some nominal cost of paid membership
premium members = 12 pics allowed - for some higher cost of membership

Is that possible under the current version?

I see it as a way to encourage folks to pay for higher levels of membership as their needs dictate.

So far, all i can see it the listing fee can be controlled by membergroup (as discussed in one of the threads here).

Thanks!

Do not have anything yet to control the number of pictures allowed by membergroup can be possible for future releases of the classifieds though.

Currently the number of images allowed is control on the category level.

Thanks for the response! Glad you see it as a possibility down the road. I have some similar inputs for membergroup specific controls that I'll post!
