RSS Feed Poster
SMF Version: 1.1.1

Description:Allows you to add RSS Feed Posting Bots to your forum.
You can either use a real cron job
Using the following file
http://www.yourforums.com/cronrss.php

Or you can run fake cron jobs via php

Allows multiple posting bots
Set Poster Name Or Member Id for the bot
Topic Prefix option
Option to lock topics
Option to enable/disable html in the feed post
Set the update time in minutes
Set how many items to get from the feed
Choose the forum for the feeds.
No duplicate posts. Posts are hashed and stored as a hash.

Need to make it parse images using bbc tags instead of html tags

Hi, I am new here, but nowhere is explained how I have to install this RSS feed poster,  can somebodey explain to me in what dir of the forum I have to install this?

Copy the file to your packages folder and then go to the package manager in your admin section of the forum

I think the issuse is more of SMF I think the html will need to be converted to bbcode for SMF.

I even tried enabling simple html code via SMF config but that didn't work well either.  Conversion to bbcode would be best

Need a newer version of MySQL.

You can install the tables manually then install the mod though.

I think the issuse is more of SMF I think the html will need to be converted to bbcode for SMF.

do you have a time frame for doing this?  Don't worry I won't hold you to it, just curious is all.

Pretty busy at the moment and then seems like it will take a lot of time to do since that does not seem to be built into SMF.

I just installed this MOD.

But when I add ANY feed all it says is:

Unable to download the feed.

What could be wrong?  Which log do I check?

Your host probably does no support fsockopen or fopen for urls.
