Just updated my site:
http://www.ourfamilyforum.org/FamilyForum/index.php?action=gallery
SMF2 RC2
TinyPortal v1.0 beta5
SMF Gallery Pro 2.5.6

My issue:
On most images the full sized version of the image will show OK but some do not, as in this example.

In FireFox there is no indication for the image at all, but in IE8 it shows an outline and red x... if you hover over the outline it gives you the magnify symbol and when clicked the image will slide into view. Also, when viewing the images in the slideshow function they show OK.

Ps: This issue had existed before the upgrade, but I waited asking for help until my subscription was renewed of course.

From what I can tell it looks like it either failed to create the medium sized image. Or the medium size image feature was recently turned on and that was an older picture that did not have one.

Or a permission issue occurred and that folder is not writable.

As best I can remember the medium sized image option has always been on and the file permissions are set at 755, that's what my server needs to work.

Is there a maintenance routine or script that can be run that will regenerate the missing sizes?

I can add a regenerate medium thumbnails option as well if that would help fix the issue.

Just want to confirm does this happen when new images that are uploaded in the gallery or only the old existing images?

New images don't seem to have the issue, the one linked below was uploaded this morning.
http://www.ourfamilyforum.org/FamilyForum/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=7453

The problem is with older images, but only with some of them, most images are OK... I've not looked at each and every image but as a guess it is likely to be about 3-5% of the images.

EDIT: The % may be a little more than I had first thought, found an entire album that isn't showing the full sized images.

Thanks Hacks.

Sorry to say it's not working for me so far.

In this album that has two images I've tried it with the box checked and unchecked but the result remains the same with no medium images.

Tried it on an album with 35 images and got the same result, still no medium images.

My fault on this one. I missed a line in the SMF 2.0 version that was checking if needed to regenerate the medium.

Fixed and reuploaded the package.

Thanks Hacks, that works.  Grin

There is one small issue though, when going from the thumbnail view of an image to the medium sized view it now works OK, but when you click on the medium sized image and go to the full sized view there is no way back to the medium view except to hit your browser back button... once in the full sized view you only see the image in your browser and not the gallery page itself.

As in this album with two images; (it's the same in the album with the 35 images).
http://www.ourfamilyforum.org/FamilyForum/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=7267
Clicking on the image while in the medium view returns a page like this one:
http://www.ourfamilyforum.org/FamilyForum/gallery/7/64_24_04_09_11_52_47.gif

Thanks... Ken.

That will happen if you do not have highslide or the lightbox method in use for the gallery and will just link to the full picture.
