The converter doesn't require it but if you have videos they will just show the image mostly like and not the video itself.

If you have a lot of videos then yes but I am not sure how the converter itself will do with aveva media videos may need to add support for it.

I dont have any from the server, well maybe 4 or 5. But i do have at least 30 of them linked from youtube.

Im doing this.

Since i use both aeva and smf gallery, im removing smf gallery and installing Pro.  Then convert and have both at the same time.

Gallery Pro and Aeva and see how it goes.

One other note if you had SMF Gallery installed the converter will clear any data in it before it starts.

No the converter needs a fresh install of the gallery so it needs to clear it out.

Thats sucks....  thats for videos oh well.

I just removed smf gallery and loaded pro.  Guess what, aeva didnt remove the members albums from smf gallery.  So they still there.  cool.


Now, i guess go ahead and convert.


What about the existing pictures in smf, will they be lost?

If it is part of SMF it won't be affected if you mean attachments etc

I mean,.... i loaded Pro and it has pictures in it.  Will they be lost when converting all images from AEVA to pro.

Remember, im using both galleries and i want to use 1.
