Hacks, My members are reporting that tags I have been placing on photos are offset or in diffferent positions to where I placed them. Example: I place a tag over the face of a subject in a photo and the viewing members report the box offset by varying degrees to the right of where I placed them, in some instances no where near the original placement.

This is occuring for our members too. It seems to be connected with screen resolution. Change the resolution and the tag marquees move. In addition if you have a portal installed turning the portal on(or off) cause the tag marquees to move in relation to the picture.

It's a dead function that can't be used then unless theres a fix, we can't control everyones screen resolution. The multifile upload function is also conflicting with something else on my gallery pages and can't be used.

Will have to look into it currently uses positioning based on the screen so have to see if there is a way to fix it.

Thanks as always for your efforts. This is a great feature but is only going to be useable if you can resolve thisd.

check the gallery/notes//PhotosNotes-1.5.css file that should contain all the css information for the box.

I just installed the gallery pro yesterday. For the life of me I can't figure out exactly how to tag a picture. can someone give me a quick instruction on how to do that? And did this issue with the tag function get resolved?
Thanks, Stephanie

Under Admin -> Gallery Configuration -> Settings Look for the "Allow Photo Tagging" setting and make sure it is checked and save setting changes.
Once enabled there will be an add note link below each picture to allow you tag them.
