Refusing to go quietly, retired and loving it

This is pretty weird, but I was passing through the classified area on my site and saw a typo so thought I would just whip into it and correct it.

However when I hit the edit button the screen pops up, displays for a microsecond or so, then goes blank.

I cannot enter any text into it, and none of the buttons in the text entry area appear to be clickable.

I last did an edit a week or so ago, and did not see any problems at that time.

I was going to try to do an uninstall/reinstall however when I click the uninstall every step shows an error, so I did not proceed.

As far as I can remember the only thing I did with mods in the last week was to install the feed poster.

Any ideas why I suddenly cannot edit ?

Can you pm a login to check it out? And what browser are you using. My guess there is some javascript on the page that was either added or from another modification that is interfering with it.

My apologies for a false alarm, I tried to make a calendar entry and had the same problem, checked it with IE and no problem, shut everything down and  rebooted machine.

Problem with Firefox and editing had went away.

Shades of Windows 3.1 when you had to reboot every 12 hours

Glad you got it figured out. Yeah I close my computer everyday firefox eats up a lot of memory over time and could lead to unexpected issues like that.
