I am having some problems with members uploading files. They say the are running out of space but I have not set a limit. Beside their name it says 2gb, is this a preset thing? Where is this 2gb set?

Fixed posted an update in the beta release to fix this issue
http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,5002.new.html#new

You will need to delete the quota then readd it again. This is found under the File Space Manager

Thanks for that Smiley

I am also getting this problem when trying to upload files 'Temp folder seems to be not valid.', and the upload fails.

I have tried changing the folder in php.ini and changing permissions etc but nothing helps.

Any ideas?

One thing I would double check is create a phpinfo(); page in php and see where it lists the file upload path/temp directory and make sure that path matches your php.ini and check the permissions as well.

I checked that and there was a problem which I have fixed. The fault is still there.

I am also getting problems with Downloads.php in the sources folder, there are some categories being duplicated. This also happens on v1.08 too, v1.07 is fine.

Anything else in your error log? Are you able to add attachments to posts?

For duplicate categories would need to see a link to a page where they are duplicated on to better understand the issue.
