Did a test on my SMF 1.1.x and SMF 2.0.x using iPhone 3gs updated to latest version of 4.2 of the operating system and did not see that issue on my test sites.

Interesting. I am running 3.1.2 on my iPhone 3G. You could try my Forum on your iphone if you like and see if you get the error: www.photographythailand.com/forum

This way we can either isolate the problem to either my phone or my Forum.

I have checked this again and it has to do with that gray bar that runs across the screen above the photo when you are viewing a photo in the gallery.

Is there perhaps some setting for this size of this bar in the Gallery Pro settings which might affect its skewed appearance on the iPhone?

If not, then maybe the issue is that Gallery Pro 3.0 does not run properly on the older versions of the iPhone OS before they upgraded to OS 4. Since you are running OS  4 and I am not then it would seem that way.

When I was running one of your older version of Gallery Pro this issue did not occur on my iPhone which was/is running the same OS version 3.1.2

Maybe it is worth looking into to see if the bug can be fixed since many people who have older model iPhones like myself have not upgraded to OS 4 since the newer and heftier OS slows down the phone considerably on older models which have lower hardware specs like mine.

Copy this to your Sources folder.
This assumes you have updated SMF Gallery Pro to the latest version already.

Cheers for that. I am running the original version of 3.0 that you had available until a few days ago. Therefore, do I need to upgrade to the latest SMF Gallery 3.0.10 first?

I downloaded it a couple of days ago, but I haven't put it in yet as I was wondering if I must first uninstall 3.0 to now upgrade to 3.0.10?

Also, I was partly hesitant to upgrade again as I spent a lot of time setting all the permissions again for each category after the last upgrade to 3.0. Will resetting permissions be necessary again if I go from 3.0 to 3.0.10?

Many thanks...

As long as you have not made any file changes ie editing gallery.template.php or gallery.php it is safe to upgrade.

Thanks, I did the upgrade from 3.0 to 3.0.10 and no problems there. I then dropped the new Gallery.php file you created into the Sources folder as instructed (and replaced the old one), but the same problem/bug with that gray line shooting out is still occurring on my iPhone unfortunately.
