I tried installing ad seller pro through my package manager.  All goes well up through the read me file.  After that I click insstall and my page goes blank except for the following lines:
"The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log. "

I can't get back on to my site anymore unless I delete all the files from SMF and reload them.

OK, one more piece of information, the install is messing with my file permissions.  Not sure what they should be set at for a proper install can somebody tell me so I can check them.

Ad Seller Pro does not touch the htaccess file. Generally file permissions depends on the host either 777,755, or 644 some hosts do not like permissions that have a seven in them.  I would also check your forum's error log for any related errors which might be a clue to help figure it out.

Ok, thanks on the htaccess.  I am trying to figure it out but I'm not making out to well.  Is there a way to do a manual install?  Thi is all new to me and I am kind of learning as I go.  I have installed several other mods without any issues via the package manager, even installed the ad manager previously but removed it before installing ad seller.  Please let me know.

If you need manual install instructions upload the ad seller pro package to
http://resourcez.biz/PackageParser/

Then select your SMF version and you will get all the edits needed for SMF.
