I think the daily limit function on uploads per day is an excellent feature. The problem is that we may not want to limit daily uploads for all users. Certain special contributors and premium site members may deserve higher uploading privileges. So I think in the Member Group permissions area you should add a function which allows you to cancel the upload limit for that usergroup. Or the best thing would be to be able to set the upload limit manually by Membergroup using permissions or within another setting area.
