On the Default theme for smf I wound up with 2 gallery links right next to each other. Is this because I installed the free gallery first and then installed the pro version?
How can I fix this without having to start all over again and losing what I've uploaded so far?

Sounds like the old version of gallery lite was not installed. First upgrade your account here go to http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php?action=licenseThen if SMF 1.1.x Attach your themes/default/index.template.php And your Sources/ManagePermissions.php

Was I supposed to uninstall the old version before installing the pro?
Will just removing the old version fix my problem or screw it all up?
Is there a place in the index.template.php where I can take out one of the gallery links?

Yeah normally remove lite before installing pro.
At this point it is better to just to leave it installed. The only things that it messes up is the two menu links and your missing some pro permissions for users both of which can easily be fixed.
Yes in template_menu if you are using SMF 1.1.x if you can't find it attach that file here.

If I'm missing pro permissions for users how do I get that back.
I've noticed now that under the member gallery it shows 0 images for those that have posted including me. What's the deal with that?
I'm using smf 1.14 now.

Fixed the permissions file attached.
For the duplicate gallery links in your menu you need to attach your index.template.php file

Thanks, now we've got the gallery link fixed, but even after I sent the permissions fix up still having issue with members gallery. What do I do about the members gallery not showing the images of the members?
Is there a setting I need to change now? I've uploaded about 10 pics and it shows zero for me even though the pictures are in the gallery. My kid uploaded one, and it shows zero for him.

Are you uploading any images to a members gallery or are you just creating category's? Member galleries images are only added though the MyGallery tab
