Hi,

When people try to download something with a License Agreement, the program just hangs when they agree to it.

Is there a way to turn off the option for sellers to add a License Agreement? It's not needed for what I'm doing with the script.

Thanks! Sorry to be a pest.

Downloads hang as well.

I removed all the license info from people's items, but nobody can download anything, because clicking the download link from the "MyOrders" page hangs!

To be clear, you click a link from "MyOrders" and all you get is a loading... loading... loading... and nothing ever happens.

Paid $90, and have made nothing.

Need support, so please let me know what to do.

No problem, just relieved to hear. Interest is so low that every customer is critical to me... even if they're downloading a free purchase. Don't want word to spread that the site is useless, etc.

Did a couple tests on my end and can't recreate the issue.

What it sounds like is an issue with the file download itself and not the agreement. Since you said it hangs when downloading a file which would be the same thing that happens after you agreed to the license.

Tried with a file with a license agreement with download. And was able to download file.
Using Firefox on SMF 2.0 final.

What I would check next is your SMF error log and see if there are any related errors when you try to download a file from the store.

Also what other mods do you have installed

Ahhh, since it was hanging and not crashing or something, I didn't realize there might be something in the error log about it...

Edit: I found some errors in the log and saved them aside. Then I blanked the error log and tried downloading from the store again.

It hangs, but doesn't add anything to the error log.

Fudge!!

I have a lot of packages installed. I hope one isn't being bothersome, here... it'll take forever to look through, but I suppose I have to see if I can figure it out.

Do those errors occur when you try to download a file?

Whoops, you caught my post before I edited it. Heh.

As above, the errors weren't connected.

However, I found this in my base directory's error log:

PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: imagick: Unable to initialize module
Module compiled with module API=20060613
PHP    compiled with module API=20090626
These options need to match
 in Unknown on line 0

Is the downloading process in any way at all related to Imagick?

Just figured I'd try asking, seems unlikely. Heh.

I can take a look but would require an ftp account/ and an admin account on the forum.

That's not true. Maybe the e-mail notification is in your spam folder, but I guarantee you I replied and the PM is waiting for you on my site. (I'm moving it to http://chloroforum.com but will maintin it strictly as a message board. This is a work in progress.)

Anyway, this is NOT because of anything related to SMF Hacks, just the general failure of my site.

I invited a bunch of friends, strangers, and advertising viewers to come over.

Nobody did.

The hanging is a mystery as to its cause, it could be the server, I don't know.

This doesn't reflect on this site or its products at all.
