Hi, Trying to set this up so the forum posts to FB and when creating the app on FB i get the following error from fb when entering the canvas url. Error
Canvas URL must point to a directory (i.e., end with a '/' or a dynamic page (i.e., have a '?' somewhere).This is the format of the url I'm using. http://mywebsite.com/facebookcallback.php |

You don't actually hvae to setup a callback just enter your domain.com

O.K thanks got thru that bit. When attempting to get a post on FB I get the follwoing error in the SMF log. http://www.mysite.com/index.php?action=post2;start=0;board=22FBPost:Error validating application. Invalid application ID I Checked the app ID & secret and ther are ok. What have I missed  ? Thanks |

The app I created has the same fields filled out. I'll put together all my settings for this and post them. Will be a day or so unless I get some free time.

Hi,
Attached are the seetings I have for the FB post, the twitter part of the mod is working fine. I also tried a clean install of smf 2.0.2 with only this mod added, a different FB account with the new app defined and got the same error all from the same web sever just different accounts & URLs.

Hmm just want to verify that the app id and app secret are correct and both in full make sure last characters of each match.
