Hi,

The pre-install test gave me quite a few Failed results, both in the default theme, and many, but not all installed themes.  However, the main one I use and most of my 1100 members use- Helios-Mutli, shows several failures as well.  See attached.

I only have a couple of mods installed- Member/Google Maps, and Are You Human anti-spam registration mod.  Any ideas?  I'm not the most PHP literate, though I've dabbled in it from time to time.

Thanks,
Jeff

For the first error trying
Edit themes/default/languages/modifications.english.php and themes/default/languages/modifications.english-utf8.php

Find
Code:
?>
Change and make sure it is on it's own line all the way at the end of those files.
Should be
Code:

?>

Then try to install again and see if those errors go away for the first two.

We will have to make the edits  manually to the Helios theme on the index.template.php as it uses a different code structure than the default theme.

Hi,

Thanks!  Turns out the "Are you human" added itself and the ?> was smack up against last bit of that mod.  So those tests passed.

I did look at Helios, but the mod says it is looking for:

echo '
      </div>
   </div></div>';

From there, I have no idea where to look.  Obviously that one's not there Smiley

Thanks,
Jeff

Attach the theme's index.template.php and I can do the edits for you to that file.

You're very kind- I much appreciate the support.  Will this support all pages under the theme, or the primary pages (main page + posts)?  I'm not worried so much about seldom-used pages such as profile editing and such.

I did Google around for "ad seller pro" and helios multi, but didn't easily find anything that would help me solve it on my own.  I know it's a pain to support lots of themes as many go off and do their own thing and rip up the original formatting to do so.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi,

Thanks- I uploaded it, but haven't had time to test it out today.  Will test run it tomorrow and over the weekend.  I really appreciate you help.  I've got my eye on your gallery system next Smiley  Wondering if it can be adapted for 3D...

Thanks,
Jeff

It worked- thanks!  It took a bit of digging around and found your thread on first time setup.  I was wondering why I still wasn't seeing the ads, and then realized that only Regular Members were checked- only the Admin couldn't see them.  Seems everyone else was seeing my tests, however.  Smiley

Thanks again.  Will touch base on the Gallery Pro once I get some time to look into that.

Thanks,
Jeff
