How are videos added?

Do videos automatically get a thumbnail, even if they are linked from youtube for instance?

Are videos coupled in the same category as the images?

Is there an option in search where you can only search videos?

Could SWF files or links be displayed?

Will the "Related images" PHP block also show related videos?

I have added basic support for auto thumbnails for some video types such as mpg requires ffmpeg php extension. Linked videos there is no picture shown but you are given an option to add an image for thumbnail

Not at the moment but could be something that can be built.

Yes they can be mixed into the same images categories.  Adds a permission called Add Video

In AEVA, it automatically creates a thumbnail for youtube videos that are linked, could this be done here?

Similarly, do linked SWF files get thumbnails as well?

Not sure I haven't tired possible but do not know how hard it would be. Currently no thumbnails for anything that is linked.

Will checkit out in the future no time soon though. Linked videos would be extremely hard. Youtube maybe but random sources no idea how that would work.

I'd really like to purchase this, but the thumbnails are bugging me. I'll have to go with SMF media gallery for now.

Possibly have to see if I have them supported with Simple Audio Video Embeder.
If you have a sample link that will help.

Also having trouble uploading video's keeps telling me I need to enter a picture title when there is one there.  Not sure what is wrong.

The upload issue with picture title error is probably because your php settings are too low check this post on how to raise them.

I'll take a look at that.  I raised it to 30MB, but maybe it needs to be more due to the size of the video format.

Yeah there are two variables that control how big of files can be uploaded which are listed in that topic
