Hi,

category and sub-category are not right on the drop down box?

See attached pictures, editing categories is right but add listing on the index page is not?

Should be like a editing drop down?

I did that for a reason. Since you could have parent categories that did not have the option for auctions/listings and would not then show any of the subcatgories.

Okay, but we use that great software for trading, buying and giving away too. Roll Eyes
We have motorcycles and parts for every aspects, so thats why we have same child categories for every main category and drop down box is little bit confusing to members.

Thank you very much for your answer!
and of cource for this classifieds that we use. It is excellent.

But it would be better for us
If the category listing was in the drodown list in the right order - I mean that there were subcategories under those categories that they really are under.

Now categories and subcategories are listed in alphabetical order all together
and that is why it is a problem. Because we have so many subcategories that have same name.

For example we have a category FOR SALE and there is subcategory Wheels.
And category I WANT TO BUY and subcategory Wheels.
And category I GIVE FOR FREE and subcategory Wheels.
And so on.

Now user can not guess, which category (of many Wheels named subcategories that are in the dropp down list) is in the right parent category,
when they try to do the new add ( for sale, auction or what ever)

So is it possible to have this dropdown list also
look like the dropdown list then when you edit your categories?
(Because there the categories and subcategories are in the right order)

Sincerely,
Jarska
