Moving content from one category to another

I'm having trouble moving content that was in one category to a new category. How can this be done. Up to now I've had to delete everything and relist the items manually

If you are a classifieds admin.
When viewing the listing there is "Admin Manage Listing" which when clicked will take you to a page to change the listing category
