Uploading without picture not loosing all

My users are complain, that if they fill out the subject and body and forget a picture as an attachment and than after that you see the message that the picture is missing and offer the choice to go back, that they see an empty page where to fill all out again. Is it possible to save the subject and body and just give an info to add the missing picture picture withoug loosing all ?

Spent a lot of money and time on it. It is an integral part of the community, couldn't imagine what it would be like without it.

It is time to update to 2.x  ... 1.x will be no longer supported as SMF said already with the last update.
