Manage Ad locations
« on: October 26, 2013, 06:00:55 am »
Hi!

I'm thinking on buying this mod but I wanted to know if it's possible to set an add to just one link. I understand that I can set different ads for different boards but I wanted to place an Ad on the root of a board without putting it also on all topics of that board.

Is it possible?

Another questions: Does Ad Seller Pro also allows to differentiate ads on the Portal Homepage using ezPortal?

There is a a message index location which is the top and bottom of the topic listings page which could be used for that.
In ezPortal there is an AdSeller Pro block built in which takes the location ID from AdSeller Pro to show the ads in an ezBlock.

I think I understood the part of the ezPortal but I didn't get the other part.

Let's make it practical. Does Ad Seller Pro allows me to put a specific ad on this page http://themobilephotographyblog.com/mobile-photography-techniques/ without putting on all topics created there, like this one http://themobilephotographyblog.com/mobile-photography-techniques/how-to-create-a-great-panorama-tutorial/ ?

Here is a screenshot attached on the message index. Two settings on that page top and bottom

The Ad Seller Pro supports any custom location that you might have and includes code that you drop in the template for custom locations.

Thank you for taking the time for answering my doubts.

I will buy this mod today.   :)

I hope I can manage to put my ad just like I want but if I have some problems I might bother you again with some help request.  :P

Thanks!

It's better to uninstall your free version of Ad management before installing the Ad Seller Pro?

I'm having the following alert error when trying to uninstall. What do you recommend?

Attach from where? Can I just backup that file and restore after it?

You could do that. Just attach that file to this forum topic as an attachment and I can remove the old ad management code
