Front page mod help needed

Hello Gurus in the building, my name is opeedo, i am bulding an smf forum, www.whispernigeria.com, the problem i have is that i am a dummy whem it comes to php and coding,

Please i would like to create a frontpage for my forum like this site ( gistmania.com )
i want to  be able to show random post on my frontpage and also feature random images as link to those pictures, please find example in this smf built website. www.gistmania.com. images of the site are attached below

Thank you Admin you are the best, i have successfully installed ezportal as you advised, Ezportal is wonderful,
however, i still have a challenge, admin please can you help me with an ezportal mod that can help me to show feature post with random featured images as links to forum post on my frontpage. please check out www.gistmania.com to understand what i am saying. thank you , you are the best
