How do I move a Gallery to another category?

I'm still trying to figure out what categories and galleries are in Gallery Pro.

As far as I can see they are one and the same, with a "parent" category/gallery able to contain sub-galleries.

I have found that I can move an individual picture to another category but cannot find a way to move multiple images into another category or just move and entire category to become the child of another category. Is this possible?

Category/Gallery/Album are all the same things they are categories in SMF Gallery

For main gallery categories you can view inside a category and checkoff the items then using the move to option to move them to a selected category.

Thanks. I saw that. My problem is the recent Aeva Media import has put them all in user galleries. From there I can only move them one picture at a time.

Are you trying to move them all to one category? If so you could do with sql.

Well, I suppose I could move them all to one main gallery category and then organise them from there. Do you have the SQL query that would do this?

When users create an album is it created by default in User Galleries?
