I just resaved some settings for ad location and the ad itself.
And it only appears on the "Aquasport Discussion" for the top message index spot

I'm not sure what is happening then.  I went into the TopMessageIndex and changed the alignment to right and saved and I still see it on every forum.  If I deselect the one forum I have selected, the ad disappears.  I select it and it reappears on every forum again.
Could it be a cache issue?

As a follow up - I reset Firefox to factory and I still get the same thing.  Let me try Chrome and see what happens.

I am logged in right now. I only see the ad on the right hand side on top message index in that one board and no others...

ok, so what is going on I wonder.  I wiped my profiles out totally from FF (forgot to save a profile   ) and I loaded an old profile and I still see the same thing.
This is a mirror site of a real site and the host just copied files over.  You helped me change the display (I think) .php so it would not show, on the real site, what I was doing on the mirror site. Could I be using some files from the real site (he copied all to the mirror site) and I don't realize it?

I am using firefox as well I am just visiting the mirror site in my tests.

I fired up Chrome and as a guest could see the TopMessageIndex only in the board that is selected but I don't see the Header or footer.
I log into the site as an admin and now it goes back to what it was doing, TopMessageIndex on every forum.
I assume you had to login to save the ad and you didn't see what I'm seeing?
So what else could be causing this for me?

The header/footer ads might be a permission membergroup setting for the ad location/ad

For the top message index ad not sure at all...Since I am admin on the mirror site which means I am same membergroup as your account and works ok for me.

I logged in as you and sure enough, it works like it should.  So why does my login not show it correctly I wonder??
This is weird 
I also logged in as my test user and it worked fine.

Guess it is only something about my login. Sorry I bothered you about this.
