1. For uploads no. But for downloading there is a "Default Download Credits" on category level feature it overrides any other credit level option for download credit.

2. There is a default option for number of credits per upload or it is by filesize. No category level options

3. There is an option in the credit system to give points by filesize "Credits added per upload by 100kb"  Yes it indicates how many points are added.

4. Just the main member who uploaded the file

5. Somewhat you can add/remove points from a user from the give credits option

6. We have an option on a category level to auto create topics for each download that is added.

7. No translation but easly to translate in the language files Download.english.php etc
