Gallery search sub category

I just noticed if I do a search like "Rosette" than I get not results because the images with such titles are in sub categories ??

It shouldn't matter as long as you have permissions to view those subcategories and are not searching based on a specific board.

I have permissions but it seems that there is no kind of regular expression match. Only if I search the full word "Rosettenfibel" than I got results.

With main categories I can just enter some words and do not use the full title.

Oh I see inside the main category a search is also wrong.

The image title is "Rechenpfennig"

If I do a search for "Rechen" than no results.

Inside the SMF Forum it works normaly. So the search routine does not search for substrings ? I thought in the past it was working or not ? I am just today on 7.1
