Installing GD Library on Mac Server

Mac OS 10.3.9 Server to be specific. Does anyone have any experience installing the GD Image Library on a Mac? I\ve been trying with other guides and the differences are making the whole thing now work. My Gallery is working wonderfully other than the thumbnails.

It would be very nice to have the option of NOT having a thumbnail and using a standard image instead. Other than that I think this is a truly wonderful mod for SMF.

Version 1.7.5 of gallery released does not require GD. If no GD will use html to resize the image.

I can live with that, but I have no idea where to get that version. I checked the one I have installed and can't find the version number on it. Nothing listed on the website that I can see.

Where would I get that version?

Unistall the old version.

Download new version at
