replacing a category thumbnail with another - what am I doing wrong?

I just installed the light version and I liked it so much I purchased the pro version for my SMF board.

I was wondering though. I set an image to be a category thumbnail and it works great, however when I try to replace the image I set with a different one it will not take. How can I replace one thumbnail with another?

I can't seem to recreate the issue on my test site.
I tested both SMF 1.1.x and SMF 2.0.x
Doing a main category. Then going into a picture in that category then changing the category thumbnail to a different picture back and forth

Did you manually set a picture on the category under category settings when editing a category?
