Going from Aeva Media to SMF GPro
« on: February 20, 2017, 04:34:13 pm »
I have an active site running SMF 2.0.12 with Aeva Media 1.4w  on a x.net domain.

I will be moving the site to x.com and already have SMF up and running 2.0.13. I am not able to install the old Aeva Media software but would like to use your pro software on the new site.

Right now with your basic Gallery, it says there is no Aeva Media to port over. My question is whether or not your Pro version will see the tables in the DB and port over the older AMedia into Pro just using the DB tables or do I have to install Pro first on the .net site and do the importing there. If so, I would need to install the Pro software on the .net site long enough to do the import and then move the Pro to the .com site.

Hope that makes sense and you can guide me here.

Yeah but I can't get the version of AEVA Media I have to install on the latest version of SMF.  Do you know of a source for Aeva Media that will install?

Do you get an error? I know I have had Aeva working on SMF 2.0.x before.
