Gallery Pro 9.0.3 SMF 2.0.18

An issue has appeared today affecting those with permissions to upload pictures.  Admin doesn't have the issue which is as follows.

When selecting Add Picture the next screen allows the uploader to select a Category from a dropdown.  All available categories are shown.

Having selected a Category and then Add Picture, the next screen no longer shows the selected Category.  Instead it shows "Select Category" and the dropdown is restricted to only seven Categories.  Consequently most uploaders can't see their own Category to which they can upload pictures.

I've not made any changes to Gallery or the Forum.  Nor can I see what could have changed to cause this?

Couple questions:



Are these user gallery categories or main admin created categories that are not found in the user gallery section?

If admin created gallery. Did you create set any category level permissions? Such as viewing the gallery, adding pictures as those restrictions would affect what categories are shown.


I would also upgrade to the latest version 9.0.5

Thanks for getting back to me.

Upgraded to 9.0.5 and issue still exists.

These are Admin created categories, not User Gallery.

I've now noticed the issue only applies to "Upload Single Picture".  For "Bulk Upload Many Pictures" there's no issue.

All necessary permissions are set.

!Fixed category dropdown not showing all categories to add pictures to.

Thanks.  9.0.6 installed but issue still not fixed.

Works for Admin but still not for other members with Gallery admin.  Only works for them for Bulk Upload.

Should I be making other changes?
