Treasury is a comprehensive PayPal donation management system for SMF 2.1
forums. It allows you to receive, track, and manage donations with full
PayPal IPN (Instant Payment Notification) integration.

Installation
------------
1. Back up your site files and database before installing any modification.
2. Install the package through your SMF Admin > Package Manager.
Treasury v3.0 uses integration hooks - no core file edits are required.
3. After installation, go to Admin > Configuration > Treasury and follow
the setup instructions in the Read Me tab.
4. At minimum, you MUST enter your PayPal receiver email address in the
PayPal Config tab. Treasury will not function with the default placeholder.
5. Set up permissions for your membergroups under Admin > Permissions.
Both "View Treasury" and "Administer Treasury" are available.
Requirements
------------
- SMF 2.1.x
- PayPal account with IPN enabled
- PHP 7.4 or higher (PHP 8.x compatible)
Upgrading from Treasury 2.x
----------------------------
1. Uninstall the previous version of Treasury first.
2. Install this package. Your existing database tables and donation
records will be preserved - they are never removed on uninstall.
Uninstall
---------
Uninstall through the SMF Package Manager. Treasury uses hooks so removal
is clean with no core file modifications left behind.
Note: Database tables are intentionally preserved on uninstall so your
donation records are not lost. To fully remove all data, manually DROP
these tables (replace smf_ with your database prefix):
smf_log_treasurey
smf_treas_config
smf_treas_donations
smf_treas_events
smf_treas_registry
smf_treas_subscribers
smf_treas_targets
